The Sea of Tranquillity was the perfect backdrop for Freemasons from The Blackpool Lodge of Tranquillity to present Len Curtis of Donna’s Dream House with £2189. The money was raised recently by Lodge of Tranquillity Freemason Jason Townson as sponsorship following his completion of a 40km Yorkshire Three Peaks walk. The walk saw Jason scale the heights of Pen-y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under twelve hours.

Bob Hogarth – Master of The Lodge of Tranquillity (2005-6) said :‘Having seen Donna’s Dream House develop over the years it is pleasing to see how donations from Freemasons are assisting these fabulous sensory experiences in the new Teen Centre’.The Moon backdrop is created from large real-life images sent to Donna’s Dream House by NASA. These sensory experiences are contained within the Victoria Star Room and feature a cosmic ceiling, plasma ball, Thunderbirds memorabilia and a range of ultra-violet sensitive lights and equipment.
