Blackpool Group of Lodges

Not a Red Nose in sight

Having been Initiated into Freemasonry in March of this year, Charlie Cairoli was raised as a Master Mason on the 3rd, December. 2010. into Emblem Lodge No. 6727.  At the festive board after his Initiation Charlie was famously welcomed by over one hundred masons all wearing his trademark Red Nose. Since March Charlie and his wife Claudie, (who is a Lady Mason) have been more than active in the Masonic social scene. Charlie has visited many Lodges along the Fylde coast, and recently attended a meeting in Fleetwood were he saw his very close friend, Syd Little initiated into Freemasonry.

Emblem Lodge 6727 is rather unique in many ways as the Ladies of the lodge meet their husbands and partners in the lounge bar after the Lodge meeting to enjoy some conversation and Masonic friendship.  It is worth noting that even during the bad weather, and especially, on one very cold and frosty night in Blackpool, they had over 40 attending just to socialise and enjoy each others company.

The photograph shows Charlie Cairoli being congratulated by the Worshipful Master, Peter Smith after being raised to a Master Mason, surrounded by all the officers of Emblem Lodge.
