Blackpool Group of Lodges
King Solomon's Temple
Blackpool Masons intrigued by the Illuminations.
On Monday, 26th April, 2010, at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool, the members of Tranquillity Lodge.No.6544. plus guests from around the Blackpool Group of Lodges were held to a demonstration of the building of King Solomon’s Temple. The model was slowly constructed, and an explanation given at every stage by the very knowledgeable members of Cleveleys Lodge of Mark Master Masons. No.1176.
This astounding, illuminated model of the Temple had been first created in 1983 by W.Bro.S.D.Bates. P.G.Depty.Swd.Br. and later augmented by W.Bro.W.S.Linkinson.P.Pr.G.Stwd.
All the brethren in attendance were held spellbound by this wonderful construction as the photographs attached show.
