Dear Ian,
Please can you forward this email to David and the members of the West Lancashire Masonic Educational Trust.
I would like to formally thank you very much for your generous sponsorship commitment to the Blackpool Karate students. You’ve enabled them to attend the World Karate and Kickboxing Championships in Germany August/September 2007 and this has benefited them greatly.
It was a hugely attended championship with nearly 6000 participants around the world so the level of competitors was very high.

Sam and Naomi fought especially well, and both won World Bronze Medals.
The England manager was particularly impressed with Naomi and selected her to compete as part of a 3 women team against the best teams from the other countries. England won a bronze medal in this event. Once again, thank you very much for helping these young athletes achieve these medals and participate in an event of this magnitude.
