A Busy Year for the Masonic Hall, Blackpool.
The Masonic Club Committee and the Staff of the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool are very proud of the set programme of events for 2010 – 2011.
The Halloween Party held on Saturday, October 30th, 2010 was a fantastic success with everyone dressed for the occasion. A photograph of the children in their fancy dress has been selected for the opening page of the New Provincial Web Site. On Friday, December 3rd, 2010 the “Presidents Night” was held, this was very well attended by the Blackpool Masons with their wives and families. Beer was priced a £1-50p a pint and everyone received a free hot – pot.
The Christmas Draw Night on Tuesday, 21st December saw another packed hall, all there to witness the Christmas Raffle One of the many star prizes was a flat screen T.V.
Friday, 31st December 2010 was the New Years Eve Celebration Party Over 150 Masons, Non-Masons, family and friends attended, with special attention made for facilities for the children.
Moving into 2011, on Saturday, 22nd January, will be a top show event.
Songs from the Shows” is a full evening’s entertainment of cabaret organised by the Group Vice Chairman, Peter Bentham.
Another evening well on its way to becoming a sell-out is the annual “Burns Night” Organised for January, 29th,
The month of March sees another annual favourite, “Paddy’s Night Social” this will be held on Friday, 18TH, March 2011.
The President of the Masonic Hall, Colin Goodwin said, “We at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool, all work as a team dedicated to promoting our Masonic Hall both to Masons and Non-Masons alike. We are very proud of the facilities which can be provided, it has taken a little while for word to get around on what is on offer here, but we are now going from success to success.”
