Emblem Lodge help Beckah
W.Bro Warren Plant, a member of Upholland Lodge in Wigan, who lives in Blackpool and is a regular visitor to Emblem Lodge is a neighbour and friend of Andy and Kath Browlea and their daughter Beckah. Bechah is 10 years old and suffers from Hodgkinson's Lymphoma.
Warren and his wife decided to help raise monies for Beckah, with her family, to go on a dream holiday to Disney World in Florida. This will happen, all being well, when she finishes her chemotherapy. On Friday 2nd June whilst Warren's wife and other ladies were ghost watching at The Grand Theatre for this worthy cause, Emblem Lodge added their support by donating the proceeds of their festive board raffle which amounted to £280

The lodge at its next meting on 6th October was addressed at the festive board by this very brave young girl at 8.30 pm just before her bedtime. We admired not only the courage she displays during her treatment, but in wanting to thank the Lodge personally in front of 55 brethren, a daunting prospect for many men.
