Another Myth Shattered.

“There is no such a thing as a free meal”  The President of the Masonic Hall, Blackpool, Colin Goodwin who is also a member of Saturnian Lodge 7563 welcomed over 100 Blackpool Freemasons and their Ladies to an evening of “FREE” entertainment and food.

 Part of the evenings celebration was to present trophies to the winners of the pairs snooker competition.  The outright winners of “The President’s Shield” were Vinny Carte and Granville Coxhill, sadly both were unable to attend that evening to receive their awards.  Runners up to the winners were Terry Barlow and Ken Morris who received their trophies from President Colin.  Two unhappy contestants were, the President Colin, and his partner Dave Bosswell who came nowhere, much to the amusement of all present.  A fantastic evening was had by all who attended, with entertainment provided by Malcolm Curtis and his Turntables.  The cold evening was kept at bay, as everyone was served with delicious juicy sausage barms.  Although this was not a fund raising event, £100, was raised for the Masonic Hall, Building Fund.  Showing that the, Blackpool Mason’s Charity knows no bounds.
